1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information we process as operator of the Service. It does not apply to First Majestic Silver Corp., exchanges, brokers, or other third-party sites you visit. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, see Section 11. If you are a California resident, see Section 12. Other U.S. state privacy laws may also grant rights; we will honor applicable requests as required.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account data: name (if provided), email address, password (stored in hashed form), username, and profile settings.
- Subscription and billing metadata: plan, renewal date, invoices, partial billing address if needed for tax, and payment-processor customer/subscription IDs when checkout is in use. We do not store full card numbers. When self-serve payment processing is enabled, card data is handled by Stripe (or another processor we designate).
- User-configured analysis settings: variables, thresholds, conditions, watch preferences, and event-trigger rules you create.
- Trade journal and self-reported trade data: entries you choose to record, which may include buy/sell prices, quantities, dates, fees, notes, tags, screenshots you upload, and similar records. This can reveal financial behavior. We treat it as sensitive operational data and do not use it to give you investment advice.
- Support communications: emails, tickets, and related attachments.
- Other content you submit (feedback, survey responses).
We do not need, and you should not submit, Social Security numbers, brokerage login credentials, or government ID unless we expressly request them for a stated purpose (we do not currently request those for ordinary use of the Service).
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages or screens viewed, timestamps, and error logs.
- Usage data: feature use, session duration, trigger configuration activity (not the same as executing a trade), and similar product-analytics events we log for operations.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, preference cookies, and Google Analytics cookies on the marketing website. See Section 8.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Payment processor (when enabled): payment success/failure, last-four digits or card brand if provided to us, and fraud-prevention signals.
- Market Data providers: security identifiers, prices, timestamps, and related market fields. This is generally not personal information unless combined with your account.
- Authentication or email vendors, if used.
- Google Analytics: on www.reclaimvector.com, Google LLC receives device and usage data as described in Section 8.
2.4 Information we do not collect in ordinary operation
We do not place trades for you and, unless a future integration is separately disclosed and enabled by you, we do not pull live brokerage positions or credentials. Journal contents exist only if you enter them.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and authenticate accounts and provide the Service;
- store and display your settings, triggers, and journal;
- process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and maintain tax and accounting records;
- send transactional messages (receipts, security alerts, material service notices);
- send product or marketing emails if you opt in or if permitted by law — you may unsubscribe;
- monitor performance, debug, secure the Service, and prevent abuse;
- measure visits and page use on the marketing website via Google Analytics;
- improve features using aggregated or de-identified data where feasible;
- comply with law, enforce Terms of Service, and protect rights and safety.
We do not use your individual journal or trigger settings to recommend that you buy or sell AG or any other security. We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we update this Policy and offer any required opt-out.
4. Legal Bases
Where applicable (for example, in the EEA/UK), we rely on:
- Contract: account creation, providing the Service, billing;
- Legitimate interests: security, product improvement, limited operational communications, defending claims — balanced against your rights;
- Consent: non-essential cookies or marketing where required;
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, lawful requests.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers (processors): hosting and database (Render and managed PostgreSQL), email delivery (Google SMTP or similar), Google Analytics on the marketing website, customer support tools, error monitoring, and Stripe when payment processing is enabled. Processors may use data only to perform services for us, subject to contract. Google’s use of information is also described in Google’s own policies (see Section 8).
- Market Data vendors / infrastructure: as needed to retrieve prices (typically not including your journal).
- Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, insurers, under confidentiality.
- Business transfers: merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We will require the successor to honor this Policy or provide notice of changes.
- Legal and safety: if we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the Company, users, or the public.
- With your direction: for example, if you use an export or a future integration you enable.
We do not sell trade-journal contents to data brokers or advertisers.
6. Retention
- Account and Service data (including journal and trigger settings): while the account is active. After deletion or closure, we aim to delete or de-identify this data within 30 days, except as below.
- Backups: may persist for a limited backup cycle (60 days) before expiration.
- Billing, invoice, and tax records: 7 years or as required by tax law, even after account deletion.
- Security and server logs: 30 days, unless needed longer for an investigation.
- Google Analytics: retained in Google Analytics according to the property’s retention setting (typically 2 or 14 months). Aggregated reports may last longer.
- Support tickets: 2 years after closure, then delete or anonymize.
- Aggregated/de-identified analytics: may be kept longer because they no longer identify you.
You may request deletion as described in Section 10. We may retain information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, which may include encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for using a strong unique password and protecting your devices. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access at james@reclaimvector.com. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies for login and security on the hosted application;
- Preferences cookies to remember settings;
- Google Analytics 4 on the marketing website (www.reclaimvector.com) to measure visits, pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP address. We do not currently use Google Analytics on the hosted application at app.reclaimvector.com.
Google LLC acts as our analytics provider and may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device. We use Analytics to understand whether the marketing site is used and which pages are viewed. We configure it without Google advertising features (including Google Signals and ad personalization) for this site. We do not use Analytics to serve ads or to build an advertising profile.
We load Google Analytics only after you accept via the cookie banner. If you decline, Analytics is not loaded in your browser. You can also control cookies in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking strictly necessary cookies on the hosted application may break login.
Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18 (or under 13 / 16 where a child-privacy law uses those ages). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Choices and Requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access a copy of personal information we hold;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete information (subject to legal exceptions, including billing records);
- export data in a portable format;
- opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link;
- decline Google Analytics on the marketing site, or change that choice later via Cookie settings in the footer;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- appeal a denied request where state law provides an appeal.
How to submit a request: email james@reclaimvector.com from your account email and describe the request. We will verify your identity (typically via account control and email). Authorized agents may submit requests where law allows, with proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
11. International Users and Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and in any other country where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your own. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism with processors where required.
12. Additional U.S. State Disclosures (including California)
12.1 Categories collected (last 12 months)
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- identifiers (name, email, IP address, account ID);
- commercial information (subscription plan, purchase history);
- internet or electronic activity (logs, usage);
- geolocation at a coarse level derived from IP;
- financial information you voluntarily enter in a journal (self-reported trades), and payment metadata from our processor when checkout is enabled;
- inferences, if we create simple product-usage segments (for example, “active journal user”) — not investment profiles for advice.
We collect these categories from you, your device, and service providers as described above.
12.2 Business purposes
We use these categories for the purposes in Section 3, including providing the Service, security, debugging, short-term transient use, quality and safety, and payment processing.
12.3 Sale / sharing
We do not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly understood (exchanging data for money). We disclose device and usage identifiers to Google for marketing-site analytics as a business purpose / service-provider relationship, not for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may decline Analytics via the cookie banner.
12.4 Sensitive personal information
Self-reported account and trade-journal entries may be treated as sensitive in some jurisdictions. We use that information only to provide the Service you requested and for security and compliance — not to infer characteristics for advertising.
12.5 Retention
See Section 6.
12.6 California / state rights
Residents of California and certain other states may request to know/access, delete, correct, and receive a portable copy, and to opt out of sale/sharing if applicable. Submit requests as in Section 10. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email.
“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”: We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any opt-out mechanism required by law.
12.7 Financial incentive
We do not currently offer a financial incentive program tied to disclosure of personal information.
13. Automated Decision-Making
The Service applies your rules to Market Data (for example, whether a price you typed as a threshold has been crossed). That is not a legal or similarly significant automated decision about you by us. We do not use automated processing to approve credit, employment, or housing.
14. Third-Party Links and Brokers
If you leave the Service to visit a broker, issuer website, or data site, their privacy policies govern. We are not responsible for those practices.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be noticed by email or in-product notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
